Malaysia

The Department of Paediatrics, Penang Medical College and Department of Paediatrics, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Kelantan are the coordinating centres for the SEA-URCHIN Project in Malaysia. The intervention sites are: Penang Hospital, Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia, Kelantan, and Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II in Kota Bharu.

Professor Jackie Ho

Professor Jackie Ho is Head of the Department of Paediatrics at Penang Medical College and a Consultant Neonatologist at Penang Hospital. Jackie is also the contact person for the Cochrane Collaboration in Malaysia, and will coordinate the involvement of the Malaysian sites along with A/Prof Van Rostenberghe.

 Associate Professor Hans Van Rostenberghe

Associate Professor Hans Van Rostenberghe is Director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Universiti Sains Malaysia in Kelantan and is an experienced neonatologist and researcher. Hans will coordinate the involvement of the Malaysian sites along with Professor Ho.

Dr Hasmawati  Hassan

Dr Hasmawati Hassan is a Consultant Paediatrician and Head of Neonatology at the Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II in Kota Bharu. Hasmawati will coordinate the involvement of this hospital in the SEA-URCHIN Project.
