Thailand

The Department of Paediatrics, Faculty of Medicine and Department of Biostatistics & Demography, Faculty of Public Health, Khon Kaen University, are the coordinating centres for the SEA-URCHIN Project in Thailand. There are three intervention sites: Srinagarind (Khon Kaen University) Hospital, Khon Kaen Regional Hospital and Kalasin General Hospital.

Professor Pagakrong Lumbiganon

Professor Pagakrong Lumbiganon is an expert in paediatric infectious disease who will be responsible for the conduct, management and reporting of the project at the participating hospitals in Thailand. Professor Lumbiganon will also have overall responsibility for the coordination of the Thai team in supporting data collection and undertaking the data cleaning, analysis and reporting.

MalineeLaopaiboonPS

Professor Malinee Laopaiboon is an experienced biostatistician who will be responsible for the design, conduct and analysis of the interrupted time series data. Professor Laopaiboon will direct and manage the Thai team in data cleaning, analysis and reporting.

Professor Pisake Lumbiganon


Professor Pisake Lumbiganon
is Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Dean of Medicine at Khon Kaen University, Thailand. He was the Chief Investigator for the SEA-ORCHID Project and will provide clinical expertise, research support and guidance to the Thai team.
